SAIREM's microwave and radio frequency laboratory equipment LabotronTM have been developed to investigate the heating of different products using high frequency and to assist with the optimization of process parameters, such as required power, residence time and treatment temperature.

The SF04 LABOTRON is a laboratory equipment for RF heating of flat, thin, film or wire shaped products in continuous mode.
Applications in paper, plastic or polymer industry such as drying, polymerization, adhesive activation, textile treatment, and any other applications that heat very thin products between 0.1 mm and 20 mm. The SF04 LABOTRON can treat a continuous flow of product at speeds up to 100 m/min.

An important feature of the SF04 LABOTRON is the self-regulation of power relative to the amount of product load. This feature allows the heating of the product to the correct level, reducing forward power during the transition stages of the process and therefore reducing the needed interaction of the user.

SAIREM, Labotron RF 2400 is a laboratory batch equipment using RF heating with main applications in food processing, e.g. thawing, cooking, disinfestation, etc. It can also be used for polymerization, pre-heating before pressing or heating of plastic material (thermoset or thermoplastic).
The distinctive features of this oven are its one-block design (a compact footprint), hot air with adjustable flow and temperature, centralized control on a touch screen HMI, precise positioning of the electrode via an electric actuator.
